Board Member Spotlight

Director of Marketing at THOR Industries and Chair of the Board of Directors at RVWA

I have always been a bit of an enigma, I am creative, love to paint, draw, sew and create and yet have always loved math, statistics and natural sciences. Born into a family of chemists, I was clearly different, I am so thankful that my family embraced my creative side. They taught me to always be curious and never stop learning, two things that are a foundation of my approach to life and work. I truly believe that if you have the right attitude and work ethic, anything can be taught, it just takes time.

I am currently the director of marketing at THOR Industries managing an incredible team that works across digital, website development, creative, research, data and events. Throughout my marketing career I have had the opportunity to work in experiential, shopper, integrated, research and strategy marketing roles. My journey into the RV industry started when I joined THOR in late 2018, prior to that I had worked in the consumer package goods industry supporting key accounts like Walmart, Target, Michaels and Kroger. I consider myself incredibly lucky to be able to combine my love of the outdoors with my passion for marketing and storytelling. I grew up camping in a pop-up with my family, and those memories and adventures have stayed with me. My husband and I have been RVing for a number of years and use those trips as a means to be inspired, to relax and to recharge. I am fortunate enough to have traveled to 49 states, and continue to be in awe of all of the incredible natural places that exist all around us.

When joining the RV industry and relocating from Chicago, I was looking for opportunities to get involved in the industry and discovered RVWA. As a newcomer I was excited to meet others from various sectors of the business. I was blown away by the amazing women and men that I met and knew that I needed to be more involved. I joined the board in 2021 and recently accepted the role of chair. I am excited for the future of RVWA and all the value that we can bring to our members!
