Celebrating elkhart county's legacy
&
building a better tomorrow together

For 196 years, Elkhart County has been a beacon of hard work, innovation, and community-building. With over $21 billion in economic output, we have earned our seat at America's table of success! RVWA is calling on artists, companies, and community members to help highlight what makes us proud to be Hoosiers & Americans through a one-of-a-kind auction experience - come be part of the celebration!

The seats of legacy project

In partnership with:

Each artist that creates a live-auction piece* will receive a commemorative plaque recognizing the initiative.

Community creatives are invited to design and create one-of-a-kind benches, chairs, tables, or installations inspired by Elkhart County’s story, industries, innovation, and community legacy. These pieces will be auctioned off on November 5th* to help support the RVWA Charitable Foundation. The RVWACF works within the United States and Canada to provide women with educational programming and opportunities for career advancement at no cost to RVWA members.

This signature event celebrates the women, leaders, entrepreneurs, and visionaries who continue to shape the future of Elkhart. Through art, conversation, and community engagement, we honor our shared history while creating new opportunities for generations to come.

Artists are encouraged to design and fabricate their own piece as part of the initiative, including sourcing materials and production.  If assistance with sourcing a bench is needed, please contact: Savannah Henry shenry@rvwa.org

*Live auction pieces will be selected based on scale, creativity, uniqueness, and their ability to generate excitement, engagement, and revenue during the event. “Live-worthy” items are typically one-of-a-kind creations, exclusive experiences, or highly compelling pieces with broad appeal that inspire competitive bidding. Additional items will be thoughtfully featured within the silent auction. Final auction placement will be determined by the event team to ensure a dynamic, balanced, and successful program.

**Finished pieces are to be shipped to National Supply Holdings Company located at 2200 Industrial Parkway, Elkhart, IN 46516
