Looking For Volunteers

The RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) is working with local Habitat for Humanity organization in Elkhart and encouraging members across the U.S. to work with their local Habitat during the RVWA Builds Communities Day on Sept. 22. Members located in the Elkhart area can volunteer for a four- or eight-hour shift on Sept. 22, when we will work together to build a home for a local family.

To volunteer in the Elkhart build, sign up online here and enter code “RVWA ladies.”

“Partnering with Habitat for Humanity on a build was one if the first things we did as the RV Women’s Alliance. Bringing together a group of women to spend the day giving back in our community, making connections with each other, and getting your hands dirty is one of the most rewarding things you can do,” said RVWA President Susan Carpenter. “We are excited to be doing this again and hoping that RVWA members across the country will join us by volunteering in their own communities.”

RVWA is also working with members across the U.S. to participate in Habitat for Humanity builds in their local areas. Click here to find a build near you. For those volunteering in your own community, be sure to let RV Women’s Alliance Managing Director Jessica Rider know where you are participating by emailing her at jrider@rvwa.org.
