YWCA North Central Indiana, Safe Haven Shelter Name RVWA 2026 Community Partner

YWCA North Central Indiana and Safe Haven Shelter have named the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) as their 2026 Community Partner of the Year, recognizing the organization’s leadership within the RV industry and its ongoing commitment to community impact.

The designation highlights the RVWA’s role as a strategic partner supporting initiatives that strengthen women, families and workforce communities across North Central Indiana. The honor reflects both organizational leadership and the collective engagement of the RVWA’s members, who align business success with community responsibility.

“RV Women’s Alliance represents the kind of industry leadership that extends beyond the workplace,” said Amy Hill, chief executive officer of YWCA North Central Indiana. “Their commitment to service and partnership has made a meaningful difference in our ability to support individuals and families seeking safety and stability.”

The RVWA is a national organization dedicated to advancing women in the recreational vehicle industry through education, leadership development, and professional connections. Its recognition as Community Partner of the Year underscores the growing role of industry organizations in addressing local needs through purposeful collaboration.

Susan Carpenter, president of the RV Women’s Alliance, said the recognition reflects shared values between the organizations. “Our members believe strong industries are built alongside strong communities. We are honored to be recognized and proud to support the mission of YWCA North Central Indiana and Safe Haven Shelter.”

The award will be formally presented during Safe Haven Shelter’s annual Support Our Shelter Dinner and Auction, a cornerstone fundraising event that supports emergency shelter and advocacy services for survivors of domestic abuse.

The Support Our Shelter Dinner & Auction will be held May 7 and brings together business leaders, community partners and industry stakeholders to invest in critical services that provide safety, stability, and hope for individuals and families in the region. The 2026 event will include formal recognition of the RVWA as Community Partner of the Year.

RVWA members and corporate partners are invited to participate through sponsorship and attendance, reinforcing the RV industry’s commitment to community leadership.
