Working with people has always been my passion and I have been very fortunate to have worked in a capacity which has allowed me to realize the importance and power of creating strong networks and relationships. Being an absolute believer in the power of collaboration and approaching problems as opportunities to think outside of the box is my steadfast approach in both my personal and professional life. Great Canadian RV is a family owned and operated dealership located in Ontario, Canada where I have been Dealer Principal since 2013. I have the privilege of working alongside my husband in the daily operations of our dealership.
As a business owner I wear many hats: Human Resources, Marketing, Advertising, Event Coordinator, and Purchasing for both our retail store and product for our lot. Prior to my involvement in the RV industry, I practiced full time as a consulting psychologist for local police services in addition to consulting the local hospital emergency department as a child and adolescent psychologist. I still have a small private practice that I maintain and while my focus has shifted from practicing full time psychology, I feel strongly that my Doctorate is well used within the scope of my roll in the RV industry.
I have sat on several boards and committees and have been very involved with a local community college for the past 5 years developing and championing the Power Motive Technician Program. This program has a speciality component for RV Technicians that launched its first cohort in September 2024. Because of this work I am especially passionate about continuing education and continuous improvement. Outside of work I am a wife, mother to 5 children, and Nanna to 1 grandchild with another on the way. I enjoy water sports and am extremely fortunate to live on the lake. My husband and I are avid RV travelers and look forward to enjoying many more adventures together.
