Produced in partnership with RVBusiness, the RVWA Spotlight is designed to introduce members of the RV Women’s Alliance to the rest of the RV industry as well as raise the awareness of RVWA and its mission, which is to bring together a diverse group of extraordinary women and men from across the RV industry who, through social and educational programs, mentorship and networking opportunities, are inspired and empowered to realize their individual potential, enhance their career experiences and create opportunities for the next generation of women leaders.

Tell us a little bit about your job.

I collaborate and build relationships with customers to understand their needs and wants in order to make informed product decisions.

What do you like best about your job?

Taking the voice of the customer and translating it into an innovative roadmap that provides solutions for the RV industry and anyone who lives a mobile lifestyle.

Where else have you worked?

I spent almost a decade in retail management where I lead multi-brand teams. This is where I developed a deep passion for the customer, which has helped shape who I am and where I am in my career today.

What was your first paid job?

My first job was in high school as an Administrative Assistant. While there, I learned how a professional office ran and made my decision to go to college for business and marketing.

What do you like best about the RV industry?

The industry is changing and becoming more innovative. I am excited for its future and aspire to be among the next generation of industry leadership.

The one thing the industry needs to work on is…

I think the industry is moving in the right direction and needs to continue to focus on the younger demographic because the average age of the RVer is dropping every year.

The most influential person in my career has been…

My Mom has instilled in me professionalism, hard work and positivity. She continues to inspire me every day because she has had a successful career, is committed to giving back to our community and most importantly, is a patient and understanding Mother who is always there for her human and fur children.

The one thing people might be surprised to know about me is…

I enjoy building furniture in my garage with my life partner, Tom. We did not have much when we moved into our first house, so we started building things we needed. Now we have a home full of beautiful furniture we taught ourselves to make. We are also parents to a 13-year-old Boxer dog, named Sage.

As a member of RVWA, I hope to…

I hope to network with other people in the industry, learn from those that have more experience and mentor those just starting their careers.
