Renowned leadership expert, author and retired Naval Commander Mary Kelly will bring her keen insights and years of executive coaching to the keynote session at the RV Women’s Alliance’s (RVWA) inaugural Education Symposium, taking place Oct. 11-12 at The Renaissance at Schaumberg in Chicago.
Sponsored by Lippert, Kelly will bring her research, laughter, and experience to show professionals how to excel according to a release. Her no-nonsense approach inspires audiences to embrace their roles, surpass their goals, and plan for the future.
“Lippert is pleased to support RVWA as the keynote speaker sponsor for RVWA’s Educational Symposium,” said Lippert Corporate & Community Impact Director Michilah Grimes. “Guest Speaker Mary Kelly focuses on what leaders are truly experiencing today. Her realistic approach to tackling challenges and turning them into opportunities to build more productive teams is inspiring. I believe leaders in our industry will sincerely appreciate Mary’s breadth of experience, research, and passion for leadership. We’re excited for attendees to take away key strategies that will have an impact on their bottom lines, but more importantly impact those they serve each and every day.”
“Lippert has been one of our top supporters since the beginning. And thanks to their sponsorship, we are able to bring in this really incredible keynote speaker, Mary Kelly,” said RV Women’s Alliance President Susan Carpenter. “It is very encouraging to see the priority the industry is placing on supporting our mission to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry. It is through events like this education symposium that we are making the RV industry a place where women thrive.”
The two-day educational seminar will include critical leadership training around effective coaching, communicating, and listening as well as training on how inclusion, diversity, equity, and access helps us all achieve more. In addition to educational workshops, the event will include plenty of networking opportunities, an awards dinner, and a cocktail reception.
In recognition of the varied level of leadership experience among RVWA members, the symposium has been designed to meet the leadership development needs of both emerging leaders and experienced leaders. Through a dual track workshop schedule, both groups will receive training on the same topics, but tailored to their leadership level. First time and emerging leaders will receive the new tools and skills needed to succeed as they move into a leadership role within their organization. Mid- and top-level leaders will receive new tools to grow their established leadership skills and remain an effective leader.
The symposium is scheduled for Oct. 11 and 12 at The Renaissance at Schaumberg in Chicago. A welcome reception and happy hour will be held for early arrivals the evening of Oct. 10.
