Success Multiplied.

Find a mentor to help you achieve your goals. Pass on your acquired wisdom to the next generation of leaders.

We match industry veterans and leaders with women early in their (first, second, or third year) career for structured mentorship that strengthens both members.

"to elevate, educate, and promote"

We believe that fostering the growth of the next generation of leaders is of the utmost importance to the continuation of our prosperous industry. RVWA's mission is to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV Industry. Our vision for this program is to create a space for women to connect with an industry leader that can help them grow both personally and professionally. We look to allow a space for women to find a mentor that will truly be a resource to help them succeed.

program details

The RVWA Mentorship Program lasts 12 months for each pair, but is an ongoing initiative to cultivate lasting relationships within the RV Industry and help make it a place where women THRIVE! We will be continuously recruiting both mentors and mentees to ensure the most success possible.

Mentor-Mentee selection

Mentors are chosen members of RVWA who participate and continue to make a difference in the community. They are someone whom RVWA feels naturally assists others in achieving their goals and will contribute authentically to the Mentorship Program's volunteer role and their mentee's career. After mentors and mentees are selected from the pool of applicants, they will be paired based on mutual goals and skills offerings.

meetings & expectations

Pairs are expected to develop a plan to meet goals and expectations of both parties before meeting monthly throughout the 12-month program. RVWA will be available to support both parties in navigating these expectations and to reflect on the program's success upon completion.

next steps

An effective Mentor understands that their role is to be dependable, engaged, authentic, and tuned into the mentee's needs. An effective mentee understands that their role is to take the initiative in all agreed-upon actions, keep commitments, prepare for meetings with their mentor, and will follow through on actions discussed during meetings. Upon completion, pairs will meet with RVWA and the program task force to ensure goals were met and both parties feel satisfied with the results.
