Yi Li – Owner & CEO at Renogy
While in her 3rd year of a Doctorate program in Physics at Louisiana State University, and still in her mid-twenties, she started Renogy, which has become a global off-grid power solutions provider. Over 1 million adventurers, including tent campers, RV hobbyists, van lifers, and full-time RVers, have trusted her products for off-grid power. She’s promoted fully-capable people within her company, one of whom happens to be a woman, who is now VP and Director of Operations for North America!
Her hidden talent?
With more than 10 years in the RV Industry, Yi is smart and forward-thinking with a mission toward sustainability. More impactfully, Renogy has an expanded partnership with the nonprofit Water Mission, a Christian engineering organization that builds safe water, sanitation, and hygiene solutions for communities in need of clean drinkable water around the globe. While the business is focused on solar power and new solid-state lithium batteries, Yi has developed water filtration systems, too.
