New and prospective members of the RV Women’s Alliance (RVWA) are invited to attend a special gathering of RV industry members for a fun-filled evening to officially launch the first-ever RV alliance dedicated to elevating the roles and contributions women make to the RV industry. The launch will take place Wednesday, March 13 at RVX: The RV Experience. Wednesday, March 13th at RVX: The RV Experience Cocktail Event at Squatters Pub147 West Broadway/300 South Salt Lake City, UT6:30 pm – 8:00 pm Members of the RV industry got together last fall to create this new alliance of women, as well as men, who will work towards a grassroots, but formal organization dedicated to mentoring women in the RV industry. The vision of the alliance is to elevate the roles and contributions women make to the RV Industry by promoting diversity and providing programs, resources and a collaborative environment. “Since announcing the formation of the RV Women’s Alliance last month, there has been an overwhelming response from both women and men who recognize the need for this important new group,” said Susan Carpenter, RVWA Chair. “It is a really exciting to be officially launching the alliance at RVX and I hope that many members of the industry will be able to join us to celebrate.” Women—and men—from the RV industry are encouraged to join the alliance by signing up here and to join the RVWA groups on Facebook and LinkedIn.
