Alliance helps promote leadership opportunities and visibility of women in the RV industry.

The RV Women’s Alliance is seeking applications for two positions on its Board of Directors beginning July 1.

The board is made up of leaders, collaborators, critical thinkers and communicators who are responsible for strategizing, planning, and helping to implement the vision of the alliance to elevate, educate, and promote women in the RV industry.

Board members should have sufficient time availability for Board duties. They should have a willingness to assist with raising organizational support and work within committees to help obtain set goals. Directors must attend 75 percent of Board meetings each year and have knowledge of the organization and the relevant industry.

“By joining the Board of Directors of the RV Women’s Alliance you will be at the forefront of empowering and elevating women in the RV industry,” said RVWA President Susan Carpenter. “Help us create a lasting impact on the lives of countless women by shaping their journey toward success and representation.”

Founded in 2019, the RV Women’s Alliance is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to fostering the next generation of female leaders and innovators in the RV industry.

During its brief existence, the alliance has hosted regular events at major RV industry gatherings and has begun an annual meeting and educational conference held in the fall in Chicago.

In addition, in coordination with the RV Technical Center, RVWA has sponsored multiple all-female technician classes to encourage women to train and become involved in finding a solution to the nationwide shortage of RV technicians.
